This bowstring girder crossing of the Calder & Hebble Navigation reaches across the water on an acute skew of around 35º. Four lateral braces add extra rigidity to the 150-foot main span. A short adjoining span provides farm access between fields.
Opened by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1902, the structure stands on the Horbury West Curve which was cut from the Sectional Appendix in 1991.
